Dermscan and Namsiang Create Joint Venture

THAILAND: The Dermscan Group, Lyons, France, has joined with Thai partner Namsiang Company to create the new Dermscan Asia. Based in Bangkok, the new clinical trial center allows Dermscan to penetrate the Asian cosmetic market and beyond, company executives said. It also allows customers the opportunity to conduct tests on an Asian panel.
Dermscan Asia’s laboratories are equipped with a variety of measurement instruments, including Cutometer, Corneometer, pHmeter, Visiometer and Sebumeter. In vivo efficacy tests, safety tests and consumer tests are possible. The joint venture also makes available all the services offered by Dermscan Group and its partners, such as sensory evaluation, legal consultancy, marketing and scientific communication.
